One Call Group does not perform trade or other services and is not the employer, agent or supervisor of any independent tradie. Any service contract is directly between the customer and the tradie they choose.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Use apply when you access the website, submit a service request, respond to a lead or otherwise use the One Call Group platform. By using the platform, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter an agreement, or be authorised to act for the person or business making the request.
2. What One Call Group does
One Call Group operates a lead-generation and job-matching tool. We receive customer requests and may introduce the customer to up to three independent tradies who may be interested in quoting for the work.
We are not a trade or service provider. We do not perform the work, employ the tradies, set their final prices, enter the service contract on either party's behalf, or direct or supervise how the work is completed. The customer chooses whether to engage a tradie, and any service agreement is directly between them.
One Call Group may receive fees from tradies for platform access, introductions or leads under separate commercial arrangements. Any such fee does not make One Call Group the provider of the requested trade or household service.
3. Customer requests and introductions
Customers must provide accurate, current and lawful information and have authority to request work at the nominated property. A submission is a request for introductions, not an accepted quote, confirmed booking or guarantee that a tradie will respond or be available.
We may decline, pause or remove a request where information is incomplete, the request appears unsafe or unlawful, or platform integrity may be at risk.
4. Independent tradies
Tradies are independent businesses. They decide whether to respond, inspect a job, issue a quote and accept work. They are responsible for their licences, qualifications, insurance, registrations, safety systems, taxes, pricing, representations, contracts, workmanship and compliance with applicable laws.
Any profile information, check or badge displayed by the platform is limited to the information available when it was reviewed. It is not a guarantee of current status, workmanship, availability, honesty or suitability.
5. Checks before hiring
Before engaging a tradie, customers should independently:
- check current licences, registrations, insurance and qualifications;
- confirm the business identity, ABN, references and who will perform the work;
- obtain and compare written, itemised quotes;
- agree in writing on scope, materials, timing, access, warranties and payment milestones; and
- confirm any required permits, statutory contracts and insurance cover.
6. Prices and estimates
Prices, ranges, examples and calculators shown by One Call Group are general estimates only. They are not exact pricing, an offer or a binding quote. Actual cost can change after site inspection and depends on scope, access, urgency, labour, materials and compliance needs. The independent tradie must provide and explain the final quote directly to the customer.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the platform unlawfully; submit false, misleading, abusive or infringing material; impersonate another person; interfere with security or availability; scrape or copy platform data without permission; send spam; or use introductions to harass, exploit or endanger another person. We may restrict access or remove content where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform or legal compliance.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another law. One Call Group remains responsible for the lead-generation and matching services it supplies to the extent required by law.
The independent tradie remains responsible for the trade or other services they supply, including applicable consumer guarantees. A customer should raise a workmanship, quote or service-contract issue directly with that tradie first.
9. Platform availability and liability
We aim to keep the platform accurate, secure and available, but cannot promise continuous operation, a particular number of responses, or that every user-provided statement is complete and current. Users should keep their own records of quotes, contracts and communications.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Call Group is not responsible for a tradie's acts, omissions, quote, contract, delay, safety, property damage or workmanship. Any limitation applies only so far as the law allows and does not affect non-excludable rights.
10. Intellectual property
The One Call Group name, branding, platform design and original website content are owned by or licensed to us. You may use the website for its intended personal or business purpose, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit protected material without written permission. You retain ownership of material you submit and give us permission to use it as reasonably required to operate, secure and improve the platform and facilitate your request.
11. Complaints and disputes
Contact the relevant tradie about the work, price or service contract. Contact One Call Group about the matching process, platform conduct or privacy. We may assist communications where practical, but doing so does not make us a party to the tradie agreement. You may also have the right to contact your state consumer-protection body or another regulator.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the platform or law changes. The current version will be published here with its update date. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory law that applies in another jurisdiction.
